Creative Lead / Senior Art Director

London / Hybrid - Up to £60K

We are looking for a Creative Lead / Senior Art Director with solid experiential experience to join an award-winning, independent Brand Experience agency. They have true challenger spirit are all about human experiences alongside big, bold ideas.

Their work covers immersive launch experiences, experiential roadshows, pop-ups, always-on digital experiences and more.

You'll be concepting for a variety of briefs covering brand, integrated, experiential and event projects, always pushing imaginative, brave and impactful creative ideas.

You'll also be assisting the Creative Director shape the Creative Department (structurally and through ways of working) within the context of the overall agency, helping to ensure the Creative Department is always delivering.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creative thinking and ideation

  • Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking that gets to the heart of a creative challenge and builds compelling brand stories

  • Work alongside Strategist(s) to ensure creative territories and concepts ladder up to identified key insights

  • Create connected brand experience platforms that can be delivered across multiple channels with experiential at its core (including brand, digital, social, press, film, OOH etc.)

  • Build out creative concepts across all touchpoints and work independently and with the creative team to bring them to life for client/internal sell-in

  • Oversee the concepts through from design to production to ensure purity of the idea is maintained.

  • Advise and lead the most appropriate formats for worked up ideas and bring in external resource to deliver where necessary (scamps, rough Mac visuals, written manifesto, mood film, 3D visuals etc.)

  • Use strong design and copywriting skills to be hands-on in selling in ideas

  • Client engagement

  • Be a confident communicator with good presentation and negotiation skills to ensure creative ideas get buy-in from both internal and client audiences

  • Become a trusted creative partner for our clients to drive their creative strategy

Studio collaboration

  • Balance being hands on when required, working as part of a creative team and overseeing other projects in a directional capacity

Agency leadership

  • Work alongside the CD to ensure the Creative Department delivers across key pillars:

  • Product – Evolution of agency's creative approach and product in order to ensure agency sits front and centre of the industry in terms of delivering inspiring brand interactions

  • Profile – Maximise opportunities to raise the agency's profile within the industry and drive new business (eg. writing thought leadership pieces, entering creative awards, delivering speaker opportunities, networking)

  • Profit – Ensure creative approach and ways of working deliver commercial and profitable opportunities with existing and new clients to deliver agency growth

  • People – help to create a culture of inspired, happy and motivated people

  • Process – contribute to and police, policy, process and procedure
